Jim Green bfar
Bought start of summer and gave them their first proper clean. They were muddy and green from cutting grass.
Bick 1 followed by bick 4 and then Saphir suede water resist spray.
These are in the wonderful fudge leather and and are taking on a nice worn in sheen in places. Highly recommend JG, any other fans here?

Those look great! Might need a pair. How's the toe box? Big enough?
Both me and another person a while ago here had some issues with the toe box shape. It's generally big, but it curves inwards in a way that makes your small toes rub against the toe box. https://lemmy.world/post/25971323
They're pretty popular in general, though, so this might not be a common problem.
Oh yeah I see what you mean. Thanks for sharing!
Dang, those look great after conditioning them!
I've had mine for a while now and have not yet cleaned or conditioned them. I haven't really worn them that much either, though. The fit isn't quite right for me. The toe box is pretty wide, and yet somehow my small toes rub against it. It's like it curves inwards too quickly on the outer edge of the toe box.
I haven't worn them since maybe February; I'll give them another shot and see if something has somehow changed since then, but it seems like they just aren't the right shape for me.
You must have very wide feet so. They have a new anatomix AR out now that's wider. My advice is maybe persist with them, they do relax and form round your foot. Especially the fudge leather.
Whats the stack height like on these? Website doesn't seem to have info about that.
I'm cheating with a pair of superfeet blue insoles but standard stack appears to be 17mm from bottom of lugs to top of the stitch down layer.
Ok thanks! Big number but I do like that they are resolable.
You can knock maybe three or four mm off that as the stitch down is on top of the foot bed and the lug are included in that too. Resoling is diy-able with the stitch down construction but I'll probably opt for a cobbler personally.
