I love African mammals. They all fit sci-fi descriptions in such colorful ways. "The beast stood nearly 4 men tall, with most of its height held by its prodigiously long neck and legs. The quartet of limbs holding this creature up from the ground were long and knobbly at the joints, with the distal edges being mere wisps compared to the hulking muscle held at their connections to the torso, a tiny little oblong thing holding barely a tail. Its head held all of the qualities of a camel, but grander, with a pair of short horns adorning the top of its head, giving the impression of regalia. However its neck was by far its most wonderous piece. A thick, tapering branch rising from the trunk like a beam of light, as if it grew from the sky and was merely planted atop its torso by chance. And somehow, the entire animal found itself wrapped in yellow fur, broken up by geometric plates of brown."
Did you write this or is that quoted from somewhere? That’s a solid sci-fi description.
I wrote it. I FRICKIN LOVE SAVANNAH ANIMALS.
