Funny though that the message was a call for forgiveness from the sister. 10 years isn't that bad for second degree murder. Now he gets to redo victim impact statements with annoyed folks.

It's a story about a justice system that's biased against pedestrians and for car drivers. You being a mod there doesn't mean that you're qualified to all the dimensions of the car dominated civilization. You could narrow the domain of talking about these things, but you're not inherently better at understanding the problems.
