I realize it might not have been translated to other languages than Swedish yet, but if you happen to know Swedish or Finnish, I recommend this short biography by Emmi Valve. Not only is her style really beautiful and painfully expressive, she describes aspects of depression that really made me feel less alone and less like a freak, at least for the moment. As an example, there are a few parts where she describes how her showering habits changed to taking a shower several times a day, because the warmth of the shower felt like the touch or the warmth of human skin. This was so relatable. In my case, I often jump into the shower to calm myself a little bit when I feel a panic attack is impending.
