In recognition of Locktober, does anyone know the backstory of these water fountains along Rock Creek Trail in MD?
I can’t find anything online, but there’s gotta be some interesting history here.
Who designed them and when?
Was the lock and glans-nozzle part of the original look?
Was it a county-level thing or the DNR that installed them?
