It's Thursday 10/01/2026. Hey, What's Going On!

I'm just going to say this once or maybe twice, I'm known to repeat myself.

This post is for casual conversation if you don’t feel like making a post of your own.

Congratulations! We'll be celebrating our 26th later this month.

No unfortunately. We were too young and didn't really know what we wanted. And it was right before people started really started doing cool themes. So we had a very traditional wedding.

I'm having a Friday night, I'm self medicating my life right now in horrible ways, beer and lines are keeping me going.

If anyway is doing fuck all now I'm keen for a yarn

It's spooktober! I mean the holiday that involves spooks and dressing up is in early spring in my country, so it's not for me, but yeah :3

Also I have set out on a quest to find a long straight stick.. I may have to borrow a rake handle or something lol

Go to your local hardware store and get a closet pole.

Might not be a horrible idea :3 so far the closest thing I found to what I want, in terms of what I could purchase rather than scavenge, has been a wooden pole for some sort of gymnastics.. though the longest one I found was 130cm which is a bit short lol

I shall now browse the websites of all the closest hardware stores

It's the first, so hopefully money is in. That would be nice.

I was very sick yesterday which is disheartening. I hate it. Better now but still feel bad.

Husband called the township so next trash day they'll pickup the 'mattress' and take it away! And the guy who will get the mattress out of the house will do it the day before so it won't be on the curb so long!

Ignore someone else put a mattress out already...if husband sees it he'll tell me I'm overthinking when it needed to go outside.

This cat likes laying on the floor. It's weird. Every cat I've ever had would never, they always would pick a bed or at least an elevated soft spot like a couch or chair. But no.

I need to remove the side garden its run its course but I need the yard waste bags first.

Look at that baby! Ours lay on the floor, especially in the basement where we have carpet.

She lays on the wooden floors! On the kitchen linoleum! Little weirdo. I love her.
