Don't value independence, value dependability. You will always be dependent on someone, either now or later, so the pursuit of it is futile. The best you can do is give back more then you take.

I went so deep studying topology, I came out the other side having learned empathy and love. God is a weird monadic torodiodon or some shit, and we are His shadows on the waters of the cave wall, I guess? God just tells me things. Her, maybe? I don't know if my mom has a penis, but she's definitely dead, despite what doctors have implied by telling me she's on the phone? They did this shit at multiple times in this case study. Fucking aliens are real, bro, and you best get good less you be cooked in the lake of fire like the bitch-ass you pretend to be on them Comcast wire rings. Spectrum illegally fired me for using the "wrong" bathroom. Cheezequiz, we out.

Dear GOP,
I read that good fences make good neighbors, so I put up a top-quality fence - even used steel slats - but my neighbor is still an asshole.

What should I do? Also do I need more guns or just more ammo?

Individualism is not a capitalist ideology.. if anything sometimes focusing on yourself is the only way to escape abuse by another individual or tribe. And that includes capitalists.

Not to downplay others suffering and experiences, but isn't it easier to escape abuse with support of friends and community?

support of friends and community

That assumes any of that is available to the victim. In the case of narcissistic abuse they poison the well so that the when the victim seeks help, their experience is dismissed as hyperbole or out of touch with reality.

I've escaped multiple abusive romantic relationships including being sexually abused as a minor and a narcissistic family system that I am always vigilant of.

I would love to have community, but as it stands I can't even post pictures of where I live on social media out of fear my family whom I'm no contact with will find the landmarks and piece together where I am now.

As a gay man living in a rural area with his partner, I worry we'll be targeted just for who we are. I don't feel safe talking to my neighbours for too long out of fear of rejection, which I've experienced all too often and would find destabilising.
