I bet once the horse learns to chill out during the hoofwork it feels really good.

Idk if it feels good, but it def ain't painful for Sandy now that her feet are healthy. They were so bad at the last barn because of the conditions there.

Omg they do. I'm so glad Sandy behaves for this one. He hated her last farrier and would just be a bitch. She's nothing but an angel with this guy.

Learned a new word today!

A farrier is a specialist in farriery: equine hoof care, including the trimming and balancing of horses' hooves and the placing of shoes on their hooves when necessary. A farrier combines some blacksmith's skills (fabricating, adapting, and adjusting metal shoes) with some veterinarian's skills (knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the lower limb) to care for horses' feet.
