Feature suggestion: cookbook

I'm really liking how the game is taking shape!
The biggest friction point I currently have, is that I really can't remember what potions the factions usually want.
So I often end up with loads of random potion, that only the merchants buy.

I therefore suggest a cookbook, which holds the last X potion requests you encountered,, either total X last potions or by faction. This could also be tied in with the guild halls, so that upgrading them would improve cookbook space, accuracy or something like that.

Ideally, selecting one of the recipe would then pin it to the brewing interface, just how it currently works with NPCs.

Very rough first draft.

Still needs an actual icon, maybe a way to clear the recipe, maybe the faction flag on top of the recipe (so you know who it is for) and so on. But it's definitely doable.

Would this work? I left out Ghosts (single random effect), Artisans (Blue merchant faction, 3 random effects) and Merchants (any potion goes), as that would just look weird.

It's a little bit tough, as it's random what each merchant wants. They do have preferred effects, but it's a pool they pick from. So one Witch might require Poison+Curse, the next Poison+Confusion and the next Curse+Confusion (with the other negative effects being optional). Warriors only pick from 3 effects, 2 of them required. The Merchant faction (blue) has rare artisans, which can ask for any combination of 3 effects.

I've been thinking about adding a way to remix potions, but this can quickly become too strong ^^' There is the Jester buff to change all effects to positive or negative, but that obviously won't help for specific requests.

So a cookbook might be the wrong approach here, I'm curious if you got suggestions for new game mechanics I could add to tackle this issue? The potion selling mechanic has always been more of a "brew on demand" type of thing. While the market stall and the general merchant are a cheap way to dump potions you can't sell.

Edit: Further thinking about it, theoretically I could add a "cookbook" overlay into the Guild Hall for each faction, for some it would be easy (showing which effects they want overall), but for others like Artisans, Ghosts, etc. it would be messy. If every faction had just one merchant type it would be much more straight forward ^^'

Edit 2: I think I have an idea on how to make it happen, I'll do some tests :)
