I wouldn't be so sure about that. He's previously indicated he wants to escalate the war. Introduce martial law, more waves of conscription, etc. Go full North Korea.

The best outcome for Ukraine is probably a costly fight between Wagner and the Russian AF that results in significant forces having to be pulled out of Ukraine to win. Who ultimately wins that fight probably doesn't matter that much
