Prius question

Hi!

Out of curiosity, I was looking at old car interiors. I noticed that some 2010s Yarises have their entire dashboard in the centre atop the console. But I also noticed that 2010s Priuses have a similar thing, except it's a display? In some photos, it looks like the driver can view just the speed from the dash as the display extends to the right half of the dashboard, but in other photos, it looks like it's only in the centre? Can the driver of these Priuses view the speed without craning their neck right to the centre console?

Yeah. It’s more like a glance whenever exact speed is a question, which is pretty rare. afaicr.

So say you're looking at traffic, then you need to glance at your speed. Do you glance down like in cars with normal dashboards, are glance to the bottom right? That was my question.

Well, down to the right, yes. But it's sort of like where the road is only lower. That's what it felt like anyway.

I had a Toyota Echo for a while that had set up. It was fine, got used to it quickly enough.

I had an 08 Yaris with this set up. After getting used to it after a few days, I did not find it anymore difficult to look slightly left than looking slightly down to see the gauges in a normal placement.
