Moto G7 (Codename river), touchscreen not working
I have managed to get PMOS booting and even displaying the lockscreen and responding to power and volomue buttons and usb networking with ssh over it but the touch screen simply does not work, the wiki page on the device says that the touchscreen works
I have built an image with Phosh and systemd for it and flashed it, Phosh's lock screen loads, reacts to power button (turning on and off he display and holding for the power menu), reacts to volume down and up buttons (audio slider indicator appears), screen display auto dimms when inactive and eventually turns off, the only thing unexpected is the touchscreen not working at all
if there is any extra info needed feel free to ask
how do I trouble shoot this issue?

I guess, same as on desktop. Do you have a device for it in xev/wev/xinput/swaymsg -t get_inputs/lsusb(?)/lspci/... is the device being set up sometime in
journalctl -b0(I guess you have systemd, right?) ?When going deeper there probably are some other steps but initially think of it as if you booted a Linux on a laptop and its touchscreen didn't work. It might be the kernel in the end, but first go from the top down. Right now your WM does not get touchscreen events. So does your X/Wayland get the device? If not, get deeper. Yes, look around if it sends any events
my system doesnt has xev/wev/xinput, I tried finding the packages for those but I couldn't, journalctl -b0 gave some interesting things
here are some snips of it that i think are relevant

I'm not sure there's something about input in here
I know that those are different devices but take a look what was being used for debugging those issues
