My healthy ways being vegan
I have been vegan over thirteen years, and with having the whole foods way over ten and a half years. I never cared for the faux meat stuff, not even finding them when I went vegan, and was vegetarian for several years before that. I generally keep using various sorts of beans and sometimes other legumes, now it is generally often lentils. I use hummus a lot, in meals I cook it is with medium salsa. I get plant-based milks too. Potato, whole grain pastas, quinoa, multi whole grain bread, whole grain tortilla, jackfruit, just about everything else from the produce section. I love getting the variety possible with this. I am in very good shape for my age with this.

I mostly eat whole foods too. I occasionally have a faux meat thing or whatever, but it’s not very often, mostly because they’re so expensive and rice, beans, legumes, fruit, veg etc are sooo cheap. Plus those faux meat things probably aren’t that great for you. Anyway, my bloods now are great. I get a blood test every six months for other reasons, but while they are doing it, I ask my GP to do other stuff and my blood work up is great. Better than before I went vegan, and I’ve been vegan now for a decade.
