The special way I do this

I have come to like the meals I learned to make, so much, I was having them all the time, though I come to vary them, even more, increasing the variety I get for every week, as I learned the healthier ways, and it is with whole foods. I have not gone out, for eating at restaurants, for a good while now. I don't call these meals anything, I make them myself not going by a recipe, but with the variation of cut up vegetables distinct each time, including leafy greens and other color besides green, and lentils, nuts, and seeds, that go in the meals, there is always the sauce I have from hummus and medium salsa I am getting, and healthy tasty herbs and spices, often I put in guacamole and maybe shredded jackfruit too. I alternate with cut up potato, quinoa, or whole grain pasta for these meals. A couple of times in a week I will put in a bit of dried seaweed. I will have such a meal each day! These are big meals. At lot goes into them now, but I have become quick at making these. I don't think about anything I have given up, at all. It's no sacrifice this way of being vegan, the healthy way. Having a sandwich I make and a bean burrito I make in the day as well will be enough for me besides a bit of protein cookie with the tea or coffee I can have.

My way works the way I like it

Since learning what I really want in meals (it has been an ongoing process as I add more things I find that I will want with the meals) it becomes routine enough, even with the things I alternate between, to prepare quickly enough. So this isn't difficult. The prepared processed stuff that a lot of others have, which was in my past, could possibly be made yet quicker, but those are not desirable to me in this part of my life while I have really tasty and very healthy meals, using the Whole Foods Plant Based (WFPB) way, now with more variety.

My own experience with this healthy way

I see that we can avoid that our action is causing unnecessary suffering or death. There is a lot of evidence showing suffering animals experience and their desire to live. I know what is used from animals is not necessary to human well-being, I have gone well over a dozen years without animal products and over a decade with whole foods and avoiding processed stuff, and at my older age I have more energy and go further.

What I found works really well

Food being all plant-based is not in itself healthier for us. What people include in that is alternatives for animal products they have liked and want to continue with something like any one of those, closely enough. Those alternative things then have a lot of what is processed, that they are not anything left natural at all. There are healthy benefits to have but that is with naturally growing foods, left as whole foods, while these can be added or mixed with each other, but not with chemicals or processed stuff added, this would be the healthy way.

Some good reason to not go on using things from animals

Animals with any nervous system should surely be given benefit of the doubt, any of them likely do feel things with awareness, so that should be with us leaving them alone. For all our nutrition to be the healthiest, which still allows for vitamin supplements, we would have it from plants. That is all I have been eating for over a dozen years, and nothing else but taking a little of vitamin supplements. These healthy ways I know of, that changing to would be good in any case, are with the great variety we should have, with being whole and not processed stuff that is used. It's all from just plants:

My healthy way

Keeping animals as pets is part of the business contrary to sustainability and the numbers of them, specifically the cats, are harming environments and are not natural to them. Animals do not just provide and share, what anyone uses from them was taken from animals. If eggs and milk are not healthier for us to still have we do not need those. And they are not healthier, a variety as much as we can manage every week of foods all from just plants is the healthiest. https://healthyaging.emory.edu/could-eating-30-plants-a-week-be-the-answer-to-better-health/

The way I like it

I use whole grain pasta such as rotini that I show, or else cut up potato, or quinoa, the hummus and medium salsa, various cut up vegetables with including leafy greens, and lentils, nuts and seeds. I use healthy tasty seasonings... herbs and spices. I don't think there is a healthier way to eat.

My healthy way

I know studies that show the healthiness of this way eating foods from plants which are all whole foods with great variety each week, without processed stuff that gets added to food, there are more such foods than I know, though. Yes, I have shared source information previously. I should not have to share that same stuff every time I post about this. Any foods from animals are not needed. There is no great lack of protein this way and nothing is showing there is. I have gone well over a dozen years this way.  I find it sad to know people who do not care, and don't think of their privilege of being born without a planned slaughter for being another species.

Benefiting health

I care about being healthy and this is the healthiest way, with having all the variety of food from plants that I can manage having in meals, this is including generally having legumes, nuts, seeds, whole grain including bread and pasta from that, and leafy greens along with fruits and vegetables the colors of the rainbow. Don't just ignore studies, or doctors with their results, including Alona Pulde, MD; Matthew Lederman, MD; T. Colin Cambell, PhD; Caldwell Esselstyn, MD; Dean Ornish, MD; John McDougall, MD; and Neal Barnard, MD. My own results of 10 years with this healthy way I found and being a vegan 12 and 1/2 years and without meat much longer is keeping me quite youthful while I age in numbers, it is benefiting me regardless of what I saw or heard others predicting.

No sacrifice

Having just Whole Food Plant-Based meals and food items is not hard and with such tasty it is not really any sacrifice, so since this is healthier, and not contributing to animal slaughter and the captivity and abuse with that, and use of more resources with the waste and great harm to environments, why not?

Avoid use of animals

Animal agriculture also takes a toll on this world. I rule out things from animals in not thinking of those as food, those are stolen parts and products from animals that never volunteer those. I care about being healthy still and this way I include in my life is the healthiest way, it is generally having legumes, nuts, seeds, and leafy greens along with fruits and vegetables the colors of the rainbow in the meals I prepare for myself. These would be with either cut up potato, or whole grain pasta or quinoa, which I alternate between, and flavored up a lot with hummus, medium salsa, healthy seasonings I like, and often with lentils, guacamole, and about a couple of times each week some bit of dried seaweed. I love having these meals, just about every day. I have nice sandwiches and burritos too. And the bit of Complete Cookie with green tea or else some coffee is healthy too.

How would it be thought good to continue the same use of animals?

How is it any people cannot put themselves in that place with imagining? Even animals could identify with what would not be desirable. Humans should have the sensibility to know they would not want what the animals being used are put through, we can likewise choose to not have anything to do with that, and we can already find out ourselves that there are ways to be very healthy this way without products from animals. And the same amount of use of resources for it and contribution to damage to environments with loss of species does not need to be continued then. https://healthyaging.emory.edu/could-eating-30-plants-a-week-be-the-answer-to-better-health/

Good to have more to eat from plants instead of animal products

“Researchers, studying fossilized human feces, have concluded that paleolithic people consumed over 100 grams of fiber a day, compared to the average American's consumption of about 15 grams a day. Since fiber is found only in plants, (meat, dairy, eggs and fish have ZERO fiber) our ancestors consumed huge quantities of plant material every day. So much so, that eating animal foods would have been difficult. Try eating 28 cups of blueberries, or 20 large apples, or 8 cups of peanuts, or 32 bananas, or 20 cups of broccoli or 30 potatoes or any combination thereof to equal 100 grams of fiber a day and see if you have the stomach for anything more."

There might be anything that would become too much in a diet. But the healthiest way does not have that problem. Eat more variety of whole foods from plants. It should go up to thirty or as near to that as possible of different kinds of plants from which you have food each week. https://healthyaging.emory.edu/could-eating-30-plants-a-week-be-the-answer-to-better-health/

My reasons that I found to be important

I was seeing the facts about issues to animals and environment, when I had already become vegetarian, had me knowing I should be vegan as soon as it could be managed, there were real obstacles for me still. And it was just what I read a couple of years after I was effectively vegan to know the healthy way, which I wanted, that being with whole foods from plants without the processed stuff that comes with food otherwise, and I changed to that, still making it healthier and healthier. Having plenty variety is really good for that.

Changes I have, still tasty, for healthier ways

With learning, which we never need to stop, and using choice we have and acting on that, we can make change for what will be better. I have made change to my way of eating throughout my life, for my better ways. In recent years my cooked meals, besides the other things I have like sandwiches, vegetable soups, burritos, and bits of Complete Cookie sometimes with green tea, are most frequently whole grain pasta, quinoa, or cut up potato, with a variety of several vegetables cut up, including leafy greens, generally lentils, with nuts and seeds, and always with hummus and medium salsa, often with guacamole and also often with jackfruit, and I add seasonings I like. A couple of times each week I add a bit of dried seaweed to it. My meals are really surprisingly delicious.

Reasons for better ways to live I was finding

More soil is being used to support the animals that are being used for the food in demand from them, than what would be enough to feed the same people instead from plants. Knowledge for how to eat in healthy ways is important too. I had found information that we could be healthy without meat in our diet and saw I could continue without it, and was happy with thinking this way did not contribute to the slaughter of animals. That was just about twenty years ago. It was before I was online. But with use of online access, I learned in communication about the issues with abusive treatment to all animals in the industries with their confinement, the effect on environment, the greater use of land, water, and resources, I knew to give up all animal products. I later found the healthiest way of eating, which I have shown in other posts from me, with good variety of whole foods from plants.
