This is a very badly written headline/article.
Gaelic and Scots are two entirely different languages from two entirely different language families. Gaelic is a celtic language, closely related to Irish, while Scots is a germanic language, closely related to English.
While it is true that Gaelic is sometimes referred to as 'Scots/Scottish Gaelic' (to differentiate it from the Irish word for the Irish language), calling it 'Gaelic and Scots' is 100% incorrect.
Yes but Gaelic is also a Scots language. And sometimes Canadian.
