I'll admit I tried Talos in my homelab but couldn't get my mind into properly learning it because frankly they were just a company that could pull the rug anytime. Many quality of life features look like being behind paywalls. I'd rather learn real kubernetes with other, more open immutable distro.

I mean they're not the only one that could be dangerous, but it was yet another layer. Although I like the idea behind Talos.
