One of my greatest frustrations as a software engineer is that the vast majority of colleagues I’ve worked with in my career are simply not seriously interested in unionizing - either they’re (tbh, justifiably) concerned about getting sacked by management on some manufactured issue (as long as they don’t say they fire you “for organizing a union”, it’s perfectly legal in the US), or they think they’re so special and outstanding that “the union would hold them back”.

Sigh.
