I've been questioning for years, but my egg cracked a couple months ago and it's been the best time in my life! I found lots of supportive peeps in my life, my close family's accepting, I even got my name changed at my school >w<. I'm currently ineligible for HRT (fuck the USA) but I'm finding other ways to affirm myself. This community is sososo awesome, love you all so much, I hope you all have a lovely day/night :3

You mentioned being ineligible for HRT (I imagine on a prescription), what are your thoughts on DIY?
Idk, I've considered, but I'd prefer guidance from my doctor. The ones in my area are super kind and accepting, but they're legally restrained from diagnosing me right now 🙃. I might change my mind, but for now I can wait :3

Doctors can be... gatekeepy. And most aren't very knowledgeable about gender affirming care. But you should do what you feel is best!

Even without HRT("ineligible," for what reason, if I may ask?) I am very pleased to see you are otherwise having a very good experience with a lot of supportive folks! And I am glad you also have a good community at large to be a part of and that you enjoy being around.
