It is indeed. I have one in the grey colorway because it was on sale at Cabelas a couple of years ago. It works great on files, utterly deletes mosquitoes if you can find one that holds still long enough, at least reliably stuns yellowjackets and also spotted lanterflies at least long enough for you to stomp on them, and mildly annoys carpenter bees. It will, however, get loose granules of salt scattered all over your kitchen.
I see the noob in the video also shelled out extra for the optional laser sight. Since I'm cheap I use the irons instead, like a Real Man. (Shallow thought of the day: If your iron sights are in fact moulded out of plastic, are they still "irons?")
I echo this review and its various efficiencies against the types of bugs listed. However, I shoot from the hip like an 80s action hero because mine doesn't even have irons.
