Google has removed manifest V2 extensions from their web store, including uBlock Origin
Brave will continue to support it, but the best move is to switch to a Firefox-based browser, either Firefox itself, Waterfox or Zen Browser.

A lot of people (should) have removed goggles from their life long ago.
This announcement ~2 years ago was what finally got me off Chrome. I found FOSS replacements for most Google products, the one that stuck around was Maps, until this week when I decided I can't use a product that no longer takes being accurate seriously when they pre-complied unnecessarily with Lake of America bullshit. They are eating their own tail. Luckily since the last time I tried maps alternatives it seems much, much improved and I think I'll be able to not slink back to maps--if anything there are more features and better controls.
It's still a WIP but moving!
I found CoMaps works for my purposes on Android. It uses data from https://openstreetmap.org/ which works fine by itself on desktop.
Yeah I'm using CoMaps too. I noticed yesterday they don't have a windows client, just iOS and Linux. Fair is fair and all but wish I had an option for windows desktop since most people don't always want to look at maps on an android form factor.
You could always suggest they make a windows client, or maybe try to use WSL to install the linux client; https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/tutorials/gui-apps
