42% private beaches? Bruh
Country with most private beaches in Europe. I believe Greece comes second with some 600 or so...
I Hawaii, at least Kauai, all beaches are public. There is one in particular that you can only access via the ocean because it's private land to access by land. The water is choppy so it requires a skilled captain and a proper boat to handle the waves.
I guess if prices reach a sufficiently-high level to cover construction costs, it's possible to build more beach.
