Aidan Hughes (aka Brute!) — cover for KMFDM's single ‘Split / Piggybank’, 1991

Hughes designed covers for all of KMFDM's albums except one or two, and the videos for ‘A Drug Against War’ and ‘Son of a Gun’ are animated versions of his artwork.

Yeah, it's very striking. He's obviously influenced by comic books, propaganda posters and also 'hardboiled' pulp literature. 'BRUTE!' was originally the name of a pulp magazine that Hughes published in the eighties. He also does advertising, posters, and murals. And sometimes random portraits like those of Milan Fras from Laibach, or Walter White.
