Cofnas has been accused of promoting pseudoscientific ideas of racial difference in his online writings, and was reportedly among bloggers recommended to the Palantir founder Peter Thiel by a “race science” researcher.

They could not pay them a salary or cancel the contract. But a one year postdoc contract is quite cheap compared to an international dispute, I guess this means pretty much take this money, do whatever you want and don't ever talk to us again.
