As Lemmy’s resident weird animal lover, I definitely classify raccoons as rolly non-polies based on evidence provided.

It seems rolly is a more temporary state though, such as the rolly non-poly depicted in the original post, which could later be non-rolly. Perhaps we need a measure of average roliness, or typical percentage of time spent in a rolly state (under normal circumstances in a typical habitat)

Jimothy would have fit in the lower left too, but I can understand if u don’t want to support the Jimothy industrial complex

I wish this would have been taught instead of “mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.”

I see this all the time, but isn't mitochondria plural? One mitochondrion, two mitochondria, or did my teachers lie?

1

The mitochondria, which there is only one in a cell, implies the existence of at least seven mitochondrions worldwide. I’m not sure how many there are, probably a lot, maybe then thirty?

2

Turns out i don't really care if they're rolly or not, I just don't like them poly.
