I am not speculating here: In June, Postmaster General David Steiner confirmed to Congress that under the rule, which was still being drafted at the time, the Postal Service would not deliver ballots in states that refuse to hand over their voter rolls to the Trump administration—a move that, if the rule were to take effect, would effectively disenfranchise tens of millions of people for the crime of living in a state Trump does not like. Sure enough, last Friday, the Postal Service released a proposal that does exactly as Steiner promised.

My state is 100% mail and drop box voting. If they refuse to deliver ballots that would disenfranchise the entire state. There are zero in person voting facilities anymore and we haven’t had any for years. If they deliver the ballots to our houses, we can at least take them to the county owned and operated drop boxes (IDK if there are similar setups state wide) but if they refuse to mail the unmarked ballots to our houses then we’re kinda fucked. At that point my whole state would need to stop paying any federal taxes. Full stop.
Also, why the fuck didn’t the Biden administration deal with the fucked up board that manages postal leadership? The national party has all the heat for progressive Democrats trying to displace incumbent dinosaurs but regularly fumbles the ball on important shit.
...because the only way things could have collapsed this badly was if a truly incompetent and illsuited status quo managing sunsetting old man who had a hand in creating all of the problems that are coming home to roost now was president right after and before a fascist was put in power.

The structure, composition, appointment/approval process, and powers of the USPS Board of Governors is set by federal statute. It takes an act of Congress to modify any of it. Which of course comes back to the filibuster in the Senate and Senators Manchin, Sinema, and Fetterman being the reason we couldn't have nice things like this and unstacking the Supreme Court.
No, the Democratic parties willingness to let those things stand in the way is what it comes back to.
I plan on volunteering to deliver ballots in Oregon, if that's what we decide to do. There's no time for any of this. We should secede, that's the only reasonable move here.

They're also not really dumb either, but not particularly intelligent.
