Not ‘Used to Losing’: Apparent Elon Musk Pep Talk to His Cursor Staff Paints Sad Picture

It sounds like Musk did not mince words, telling his newly acquired staffers that they were his way of playing catch-up. The Information summed up his description of his apparent predicament by saying “he wasn’t used to losing.”

Musk also supposedly said AI models are sure to become too advanced for humanity to control, so he considers it necessary that SpaceX “build the technology before other companies did,” per the Information. This may come across as troubling if you A) agree with Musk about AI becoming impossible to control, but B) don’t trust Musk and only Musk to be the one to control it, like he apparently does.

Personally, I reckon it's Musk that's out of control. Solution? Wolves.

I wish that someone managed to convince Musk to just stop, let it all go, buy a place in the woods and spend his days managing a forrest.

He would be far more healthy, as would the rest of the world.

That's exactly it. The richest man in the world is a lost soul and can't find happiness. It's sort of depressing.

Healthy people don’t have a constant need for validation through acquisition and financial “success.” The richest people will always be among the most fucked up.

One exception is the founder of MySpace who just travels and is into photography.

"AI is going to go out of control, so it's important that we get our AI become an out-of-control disaster sooner than anybody else's!"

What the fuck is the logic here? Is he worried that somebody else's out of control AI isn't going to be racist enough?

He actually looks like a polished turd. You can still see his true colors, you can see the little undigested kernels of what went into making him, there's just a weird, reflective, tight, cover on it all.
