I'd say anyone with common sense knew this, but unfortunately common sense doesn't seem to actually be terribly common.

There is a benefit to showing that there is statistical of "common sense" because while sometimes the "common" bit is inaccurate other times it's the "sense" bit.

Yeah, I just wish those that needed to see the proof were more likely to treat the issue as seriously as it deserves.
