I've spent hours and hours in this room! I've laid underneath it. The walls bow inward. The pic doesn't do justice to how huge it feels in person. In this room, there is only barrell
Its not quite that big. If you're on the ground under it and reach up you'll touch it. Probably 8 feet across at the widest point and 12 or so feet long? Its not collossal. But it feels much bigger in the room, so my measurements could be all off
I've got a bone to pick with the Columbus Art Museum when a security guard yelled at us for sitting on a giant yellow bench... Which turned out to be an unlabeled piece of art, which was negative rubber casting of half of the artist's bathtub. Put in some fucking benches, and put a sign on the damn "art".

Do the walls bow inward from the gravity exerted by the barrel?
All cause and effect is barrel
How big are we talking? Do I have to duck when I walk under it? Hard to tell from this picture as there's no banana for scale

You too can see the gigantic barrel if you're willing to go to Ohio!

My Indiana Jones senses are tingling.
I have to admit, that's a dope ass barrel.
What came first, the barrel specs or the room specs?
The room is part of the installation, the walls slant and bow slightly to make the barrel feel even more imposing
Some museums would put up the walls if the art displayed needs to.
It just showed up in there one day. No one knows how it got there.
Anything can be art if you make it hard enough to remove from the building site that will later become an art museum.
This is clearly a trap. There’s a hidden pressure plate in the floor somewhere and stepping on it releases the barrel.
Bottom of the barrel art right there.
That is very clearly the side of the barrel, smh
Nononono. The sides are flat discs, the bottom is the nice plump round bit. Just like the front, back and top.
Do a barrel roll
This puppy will hold a lotta root beer pats barrel
I want to taste the barrel.
That's the barrel I wanna live in!
