Shower of Stars

From Dr Caesar Photography

A sudden turn, and the night scattered into silver.

The giraffe lifted its head from the water, sending a stream of droplets into the darkness. For one fleeting moment, they hung in the air like a constellation-tracing the graceful arc of its movement before falling back to earth.

A quiet sip transformed into a brief shower of stars.

Shompole, Kenya.

If the world can fly through the cosmos on the back of a giant turtle, I think it is plausible that a giraffe can bathe in splashes of starlight, and frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. 😄
