Take-Two Interactive is using DMCA 512(h) method to dox everyone posting about the leaks.

Take-Two filed 512(h) DMCA subpoena to Youtube for the identifying info of 3 YT channels.

The Discord and Microsoft subpoenas are more egregious because they give Take-Two the ability to get the identifying info of members of Discord communities whose member count in total is approximately 112,994.

Anyone still considering giving them money at this point is complacent. Fortunately I already didn’t care about GTA. Easy decision for me.

This is legally known as a fishing expedition. It is really really bad. If the court issues subpoena for this nonsense, they are saying that your rights don't matter when a wealthy person(corperation) accuses you. In fact everyone around you right's also don't matter. If any of those 100000 people has the money, they need to file against it to block the subpoena.

EDIT: Nvm, I realized this can get Lemmy and it's users in trouble too

The leaker kinda sounds like a douche, but it's Take Two/Rockstar, so they deserve far worse.
