The study isn't for you directly. It's for people who would try to help. Money doesn't flow on anecdotal evidence. Studies like this are needed so they can be cited by others as proof that help is needed.
Of course, that doesn't mean it will happen, but that's why studies with obvious conclusions are done.
Fair enough. I guess I just mean it should be obvious that help is needed. But I am on the inside, I won't have the most objective view on the situation.
Allow me the arrogance to assume you probably feel rather angry that we are just now here in the process. Like are you fucking kidding this hasn't been discussed to the point where they decided to do the obvious study already? Just now? Whatthefuck.jpg
Im Not in your situation but im mad for ya buddy. <3
Pretty spot on. I'll add that I have no confidence whatsoever that our current economic system will allow the disabled to be taken care of properly, ever. So not only anger at the slow pace, but the additional insult of knowing it's exceptionally unlikely help is ever coming even when the inevitable conclusions are reached.
But, you just never know. There's always a little sliver of hope somewhere. A lot of families are holding onto that sliver real fucking tight.

This is incredibly frustrating to see as exactly one of these parents.
Thanks, we fucking know. We know help is not coming, at least stop telling us how broken we are without being able to offer any solutions.
