British crime drama is the only crime drama I will watch. Its still propaganda for cops but at least they solve crimes and the perp goes quietly. USA shows cops arrest with guns drawn and in cuffs. They have a completely different effect on the brain.
Yes procedural crime shows are always going to be copaganda. My point was that Elsbeth and High Potential, which are relatively nonviolent, are in line with the top commenter's preference for british "cozy crime".
Series 1 was the best, Series 2 is a bit more silly. Not really liking it since the underlying mystery is very serious.
Like all shows, the first season is great and season 2 is slapped together in hopes of future seasons.

Check out Elsbeth and High Potential.
High Potential is heavy on the copaganda.

Elsbeth is wonderful! It's like a crime sit com not a drama.
The killing times blog is a pretty good spot for these
I like ludwig, however i am finding a few are falling into that category of twee comedic soap opera rather than genuine crime drama.
