My bike (apparently) had a flat tire, and pumping air into it didn't seem to inflate it. Obviously there's gotta be a puncture. So I took off the tire and removed the inner tube. This was a struggle; I rarely go biking and haven't had to do any real maintenance before. I couldn't find the hole by looking at it, and there wasn't any more air escaping. So I filled the sink with water and held the inner tube under. No stream of bubbles from anywhere either.

So then I pumped some more air into the inner tube. It didn't escape; the inner tube held its shape. I figured I must not have put the pump on the stem correctly when I inflated it, somehow, because as far as I could tell there wasn't a hole anywhere in the tube.

I struggled for a bit and read a tutorial to reassemble the wheel, and started pumping it up again. Once again, there's the audible hissing of air from the tire and the quick deflation. I'm baffled. But I removed the inner tube again. I guess if nothing else this has been a valuable learning experience?

Way too hot to go anywhere today, we will be hanging out with the cats.

Still running a 99.7 fever so no chores today. Well. I did a load of laundry and will make dinner, hopefully.

Twin bought us both the remaster of the Lord of the Rings: War on the North. It's fun! The Save system is still wild. The npc in the party actually can use his secret finding ability. In the old game I could only find a third of the secrets because the npcs did shit all.

I took a weed. I'm tired and want to sleep.

Playing the beta of Wandering Alchemist. I don't have much money, I should go walkies.

Just got back from weekend at boyfriend's. I got to volunteer watch kids on the inflatables. That was fun. First week of school was generally boring, except I got my case assignment at the clinic I'm doing. That's very exciting.

I'm working on cooking up a little software project. I'm at the point where I've got a working prototype for what I wanted, but its not really usable by anyone else yet.
