bug report for v4.0 beta
Played the imp quest with mage. Got ten tokens. Got blooming staff plus three. Didn't work. Could not zap with it. Had to escape boss fight.
Worked ok with huntress. Got spirit bow. Worked just fine. Killed boss elemental. Yeah!

Yeah I sussed it. My mistake. Thanks for the response. Good quest, mighty rewards.
The staff you get from the mirror does not come with a wand imbued into it, you have to add one.
Maybe the blooming enchantment was mistaken for a regrowth imbue?
