Because good movies will stay in theatres longer to make more money.

Back in the 90s it was minimum a year before movies came out on VHS. This is short.

Expect it won't stay in theaters. There will be a 2 month period whre you just can't watch it. It happened with Oppenheimer

So dumb, they removed it from the good "VIP rooms" way too fast, then very quickly almost no time slots available too.

I mostly go to the movie theater on the "VIP" rooms because the normal ones are simply too bad. It is better to watch at home than a "normal theater room", without mentioning IMAX is non-existent where I live.

This feels like pedant bait to point out that blu ray is a digital format and I’m not going to fall for it.
