They really are nothing but a meme of a club.

Imagine spending, what, £200 million in the summer?... and then losing 3-0 on opening day!

How spursy!

There's one thing about buying pieces, but do they fit in your piece of machinery is a different story

Having watched some highlights, discovered that Brentford also missed a penalty. Imagine if the Spurts hadn’t spent all that money!

3

I’m grateful to Brentford for missing the penalty to go 4 up. Otherwise they would have gone above us on the table.

Woke up and caught up with the results. Hopefully a perfect weekend can be achieved by Bournemouth and Fulham.

My goodness. Hull looking good, or Man U just look like Man U?

Classic Man United rebuild. Come up with an overarching strategy and identity? Nah, just throw money at the problem!

Not as much as in the last several years TBF to them. But I'm looking at most other teams recruitment and can see logical themes and reasoning in who they are bringing in. Man United not so much.

I'm not a huge fan of them, but I will cheer them on over Man United every single time. Good on them. Solid victory and a good return to the PL.

And rofl @ Yanaited! Turns out Carrick can't walk on water after all? Who'd have known! /s (Don't get me wrong, he's a good manager, but the hype around him was absurd.)

Me neither but man it's a goodly morning to see Yanited get humbled by a historic team 🤪

Hahahahahha United

also man Heaven starts for them already? I dunno if that's an indictment on them or if he's improved a lot lately

He improved. Apparently been working a lot this weekend to improve.

I'm slightly disappointed to find out that Konsa is a childhood Sp*rs fan lol

2

Well actually, I love it even more. Had straight up Campbell vibes for me.

Well Spider-Man recently explained his fandom and I feel slightly better that he was just looking out for one of his brothers (the other two are Gunners) and that he thinks it's the worst decision of his life.

I'm a big believer in sticking with the team you initially land on (fuck the fair weather fans / glory hunters who jump been Man City, Chelsea, and Man United!).

But I feel like a special dispensation should be given to spuds fans who chose their club during childhood. That's such a huge, catastrophically bad decision. They chose objectively the wrong North London club. But they were just foolish kids, ya know? They should be given a release path just once. If they are wise they will ruin away from those lilywhite clowns for good.

Yes I said to my nephew, ‘don’t do this man’

He followed through unfortunately

Haven't watched the video yet. But I wonder if Tom's rl partner (Zendaya, who is an Arsenal fan) is also helping him see the error of his football supporting ways.

2

It's especially funny because the host Angela Hartnett (amazing chef btw) is literally a season ticket holder at The Emirates.

Loving the score ticker thingy on the new season's highlights. Looks sick as hell
