Trump asks Supreme Court to hear his defamation case against CNN
President Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to weigh in on his defamation case against cable news giant CNN. In a filing submitted on Aug. 14 but docketed on Thursday, Trump told the justices that “CNN falsely and maliciously portrayed” him “as a knowing liar who fabricated objections to the 2020 election, lacked supporting evidence, and deliberately deceived the American people.”
The dispute has its roots in CNN’s coverage of the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election. Trump contended that when CNN used the phrase “the Big Lie” to describe his insistence that the election had been stolen, and that he was the actual winner, it did so to link him with Adolf Hitler and Nazi propaganda – which, Trump said, was defamation.
A federal judge in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, dismissed Trump’s case. In an eight-page, unsigned opinion, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit upheld that ruling.

Fuck off, Donald.
Pathetic.
I'm excited for discovery. The fact that Trump is a Nazi is easily provable.
"They said bad things against me!!! WAAAAAHHHH!!!!!"
I hope it goes forward. Let's see Trump try and actually prove what he's claiming.
This is the SCOTUS, he hired them so he doesn't have to prove shit.
Eh, they really haven’t been doing him any favors recently
They'll lose a battle to win the war. Gotta at least LOOK impartial.
He just needs to ask them nicely in the middle of Fifth Avenue.
