SOLVED! Laziest firewall?
Solved: OpenSnitch, https://github.com/evilsocket/opensnitch available via Software Manager on Mint as well.
There was a windows firewall (tinywall?) that worked like this:
- Something wouldn´t work on the internet.
- I'd query the firewall to see what was just blocked.
- I'd whitelist that traffic.
Pretty painless and I never was forced to think about the firewall until absolutely necessry, and then only to the least possible amount.
Is there any firewall on Linux that works similarly? Running Mint.

ufw's all i know.

idk if it has that, too lazy to look into it.
ufw just works.
(PS, I also use someonewhocares's hosts file (with my own additions up top). May interest, for a lazy painless way of blacklisting at least, and doing other redirects, and more.)
maybe UFW?
The UFW I have on Mint (technically GUFW) seems to want me to manually configure each rule. I can't right click on a blocked entry and say, "allow".
Both supposedly show a popup where you can allow or deny a connection with various settings (port, domain name, etc.)

That's helpful. Gotta hardwire my jellyfin connection to the router, but my internet is via mobile hotspot.
