I agree, but I think shitty beauty standards and perceived societal pressures lead an unfortunate proportion of the population to believe that any fat on the body is bad and unattractive. I'm not a doctor or a dietician or anyone else that actually knows what they're talking about here, but I think that looks like a healthy amount of fat to have on the body. Striving for less can lead people to make unhealthy choices, especially if they already eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly.
Absolutely agree, but there is an ongoing trend where womens bodies get fetishized as "chubby". Meaning they become sexualized explicitly because they have some amount of fat without going too far. And splitting fatness into different categories where some are considered normal and others aren't is not a win for fat acceptance which is what I am trying to push back against.
It's worse than that. This is calling thin people some version of fat, not just creating a category of "fat but not too fat." That then means that it creates a perception that some thin women are in fact fat and that, while that may now be more within the beauty standard, it's still creating an unrealistic standard.

Yeah, but as someone who generally has a little less than that, it's not terribly uncommon to feel like it's a lot when it's on oneself.
