For completely unrelated reasons, I just want to point out that it's two months until Halloween... I think a masked person with a bayonet saw is what's cool this year.
The privacy aspect is obviously terrible of flock cameras. But this situation if fucking hilarious: Puts up cameras to prevent crimes -- crimes instead removes the cameras. Wooow, really proving how effective they are at preventing crimes huh?! It's almost as the whole thing just demonstrates its all about the police having the power to stalk unknowing victims and not preventing crimes.

They just stuck two up on Main Street in my city this past weekend, ballsy move as a half dozen nearby cities just terminated their contracts.
Make sure they don’t just switch to another vendor and when they do keep cutting those down.
I think the Flock cameras are proprietary to their network, so the logistics of switching are that much harder. Love this type of news, either way.
