How clean up Drafts?
Do I have a habit of starting to write a comment, then go "nevermind why am I bothering". Or I started saying something that I decoded is dumb and aborted (you're all welcome). Well at this point I have hundreds.
I can't find a way to delete them other then 1 by 1 and hitting confirmation each time. Am I missing something?
I thought about backup and delete storage or uninstall, but the DB backup that has settings in it also backs up drafts... I tried toggling save drafts off and on but that only applies to new drafts.
I guess I'd rather just not have drafts than have a forever growing pile but something like a setting to delete after X time would be a great feature. But in the short term, delete all seems like it would be relatively straightforward to implement?

I went overboard and I am adding two new ways to delete them in the next version. One where you can long press to be able to select multiple items to delete at once and also a delete all button.
This has also been an issue for me. I'd love a confirmation dialogue when exiting a comment/post window if you have typed something, like "Exit? Yes/No/Save Draft". And of course mass deleting saved drafts would be good. I do it manually in batches but it's quite bothersome.

While on the topic of drafts, I have some other ideas, and I might as well run this by you to see if it's feasible.
I would love to have the opinion to "pin" drafts (to be used for templates for example), and for default behaviour to be that when you select an unpinned draft from your draft list, that draft is marked for automatic deletion if you end up actually pressing the "send" button.
This way you could have the best of both worlds: you can keep your templates easily accessible while your temporary reply drafts kind of clean themselves out automatically.
Don't know how technically feasible it would be to implement, though, or whether it'd be worth the hassle.
Can you give like a concrete example of how you would use this? It will help me figure out the best way to implement the feature. Thank you.
I saw your post actually - it would be a good way to address the piling up Drafts a tually, because I could just not save the draft unless I wanted to in the first place.
TBH your proposal has more functionality amd avoids my issue altogether. Multiple birds one stone.
Go to Settings --> Drafts and you should be able to set all your drafts there to delete them?
Edit: oh ignore me you're asking about a mass delete. My bad.
