The tracks are buckling because they weren’t meant to expand this much.

Edit: they are going to need to heat up the rail before installing it going forward or else this will keep happening.
So, will they paint the rails white now?

Once they get government subsidies for it, why not? I bet every rail operator has a white paint guy who could do it for half, and will do it for double.
Spray nozzle on last car of train or some such and no one running on tracks between trains

I feel so bad for Europeans. To be fair though, there have been an overwhelming number of warnings from the scientific community that were either laughed at or ignored. Hopefully when scientists figure out how to fix the rail people will listen.
