Let's go TOP! 3 times already I've voted for you and this next one's looking promising for once.

It's now a less than 50% chance since you said that and jinxed it 😋

Kiwipolls has Opportunity at 6.7% in their model. Up from 5.9% before this latest poll result. Looking very positive.

Note: I am not affiliated with Kiwipolls in any way. I just like their rolling poll of polls; I also appreciate the explainer on their model.

I will probably be voting for them this year because I'm honestly just sick of most of the larger parties at this point. It feels like nothing gets done when either are in power and none of the other minor parties are that attractive to me.

I'll admit Labour could have done more, should have done more when they were in power. However, it is also really easy to feel like they did nothing when everything they did ( Collective bargaining, Lake Onslow, Pay equality, etc ) was all revoked, under urgency, the moment this current pack of clowns got into power, Christopher Luxon's bloody "100 day plan".

They assume TPM will keep all their electorates in these polls, and I just don't think that will happen.

I also note that, this poll doesn't reflect the public opinion of the latest National shenanigans. But it does show that Winston's comments have had an effect.

Changes since last Verian poll:

  • Nat 0%
  • Lab -2%
  • Grn -1%
  • NZF -3%
  • Act +3%
  • TPM -0.8%
  • Opp +3.4%
  • Others +1.5%
  • Undecided -1.1%

Interesting that Opportunity are mostly taking votes from the left trio, and the same is happening on the other side. There's very little crossing the aisle.

We will see after the current national debacle is factored in.

I honestly don't think that will change anyone's mind, there's been rumbling about Luxon being rolled on and off for nearly four years.
