Disable touch screen while typing?

There's an option in the KDE plasma settings to "disable touchpad while typing", which I already have on. My mouse randomly clicks and moves the cursor while I'm typing though, and I suspect it's due to an over-senstive touchscreen (because I can't think of what else it might be).

Is there an equivalent way to disable the touch screen while typing?

Most likely it's still that setting. For some reason or another, this specific setting doesn't work some/all of the time. I think it's some sort of permissions issue? I'm not familiar with the technical explanation, but it's a known issue. I've had that problem and my laptop isn't a touchscreen. It just stopped becoming a problem over time as I just stopped touching the touchpad when I type

Anything you could point me to? A KDE bug page or something?

It's been a while, I could try to refind it but you would have just as high of a chance of finding it as I do
