Guess the game (#010) [Solved - See Comments]

The games will vary in obscurity, but I promise each would have had a North American release.

Please refrain from using reverse image search.

I’ll provide an answer if unsolved in 8 hours.

Can you guess the game ?

Note: it’s been a looong while and I apologize. Things should finally calming down in my life.

Beat me to it! I was gonna guess it as well. Purely by the HUD

Looks like it, looks like there's a Nod logo on the red vehicle in the background.

My favorite thing about this game is how terrifying the obelisk of light was from a first person view.

For anyone passing through with nostalgia for CnC Renegade' multiplayer mode (which was a first-person take on the parent series' base building) give the fan made remake Renegade X a look. I played several games with full servers when 1.0 launched and it scratched my nostalgia itch like no one's business. They have the link to the download in the description of the video.

Dude (or dudette)! Good you are back! I was recently thinking about you / your post that i really like the idea but that i didnt see you for a long time.

Man i only played the original C&C and to be honest I didn't even know C&C had a first person shooter! TIL

This game is specifically an FPS set in the first C&C game, which is pretty cool. It uses the buildings from that game and a bunch of the units.

The 3D engine used for this game would go on to be used for the 3D rts games too (Generals, C&C3, Middle Earth, etc).

The background city says "Morrowind" but everything else says... Something else.

Renegade really looked like this? lol

I never got a chance to play that back in the day. One of the reasons I quickly came to love Steam: Retailers in my area that sold PC games were not common, and the ones that did barely had any inventory.

Now I can’t unsee it…

I think they were going for old European village but the color pallet did them no favors ..

You reached the end
