lexis nexis is a creepiest data aggregator out there. i recall seeing interview with the founder where he's been bragging about buying hacked stolen databases of the darkweb "until feds take them down". all your data

and this company is used to validate your tax worthiness.

Is this the same lexisnexis that does like book and research paper databases for university libraries?

I used to work for a giant bank in the fraud department and had full access to lexis Nexis. It was horrifying 15 years ago. It's gotta be so much worse now.

Health insurance here. They were the biggest kid on the block as far as information gathering.

Shut them down for good. They collect a shit ton of data and sell it to anyone. Your car's telemetry data get collected and they sell it to insurance companies.

I worked for a financial institution that used their services to try and locate account holders with undeliverable mail.
