The real answer right here, I dont think ive seen a proper gaming Cafe in like a decade. Id love to see them still exist but in my neck of the woods most people save for their own gaming PC or just get a console
I think if hardware prices stay where theyre at though maybe a feasible return could be seen but we dont even have the LAN party spirit around anymore to draw groups for multiplayer like we did back in the day
I mean, if you're able to find one, I don't think anyone is going to think it's weird. The owner and employees would also likely just be glad that they have someone coming in.
I bet if there going to a library they probably don't have a phone or gate keeper by parents or not fast enough phone.
Plus the times I noticed there usually a group of teens and not just one. So it might just be a social thing and I hate Roblox it at least there going outside to the library.
When I was in my 20s, 3 of my friends who didn't have their own PC would go to a local cafe to play games. Mostly Battlefield 2, but they would also play HL2 and other SP games if they didn't go together.
I used to back in 2004-6, as my PC was too weak to run GTA Vice City. The vast majority of those cafes (Lan houses, as they were called) disappeared here in Brazil.

Haven't seen such a cafe since 2016.

I have seen teens play Roblox at libraries. Does that count?
Roblox is available on phone too. So going to libraries for that sounds a bit inconvenient, especially if the libraries are limiting the usage.

A few years ago there was one cyber cafe left in Paris. I'm sure the number of cyber cafe in France is between 0 and 1.
