Xtianity has been dwindling for years and years. Everything Donvict touches turns to shit, but it already is a brand under siege.
I look forward to the day when they dip below 50%. I distinctly remember, in the mid-00s, an evangelical co-worker being utterly shocked when I told him the stats on xtianity - 70-some percent, and declining about 1 percent per year.
Dude did not believe me, and accused me of just telling "secular" ( chuckle - the religious don't really seem to use that word properly at all.) lies and that he was sure it was more like 95%.
I told him to look it up.
What's funny is that in my anecdotal experience a lot of immigrants from the lower income end of the spectrum tend to be more likely to be Christian.
The evangelicals probably wouldn't like that though.
I mean some of their parents cheered on black churches getting bombed in the 60s for sure
I don’t see the evangelical brand of Christianity persisting into the future. It’s an odd lot anyway, but I think it’s the end of the rope.
It will get more whack the smaller it gets but it'll hang around don't count those pedophile supporters out!
