Would smaller beer containers not be better? That big ass glass is just getting hotter and hotter. Climate change is gonna have me ordering 2L bottles of beer on ice just like wine bottles.
And if you just want to keep the beer cool while looking at it, that would be relevant.
But if you're drinking it you can empty the smaller glasses before the beer warms up, which you can't do with the large one. So if you want to continuously drink cold beer, small glasses are better.

You missed the point. Larger glasses keep their cool longer, because the volume grows faster than the surface area with size.
