It is said that trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results is a sign of insanity.
Yet here we are, Russia sending 1000+ people to the front every day, just to get them back again wounded or killed.
They aren't even gaining territory at snail speed anymore, it's at a complete standstill now. With Ukraine taking as much back as Russia is gaining.
So I think we can safely conclude that Putin and his generals at a minimum suffer from mental illness, maybe they are insane, or maybe they suffer from OCD, so they are compelled to try the same thing over and over and over again.
